Joint Radio Resource Allocation and Cooperative Caching in PD-NOMA-Based HetNets

In this paper, we propose a novel joint resource allocation and cooperative caching scheme for power-domain non-orthogonal multiple access (PD-NOMA)-based heterogeneous networks (HetNets). our scheme, the requested content is fetched directly from edge if it cached in storage of one base stations (BSs), otherwise via backhaul. Our consists two phases: 1) Caching phase where contents are saved BSs; 2) Delivery delivered to users. We formulate optimization problem over radio resources placement variables. aim minimize network cost subject quality-of-service (QoS), caching, subcarrier assignment, power constraints. By exploiting advanced methods, such as alternative search method (ASM), Hungarian algorithm, successive convex approximation (SCA), obtain an efficient sub-optimal solution problem. Numerical results illustrate that ergodic policy proposed management algorithm can achieve considerable reduction on total average compared most popular random policy. Moreover, NOMA outperforms orthogonal (OMA) terms delivery general with acceptable complexity increase.
